The tour will provide a rare opportunity for Oregonians to hear directly from Iraqi labor union leaders who struggled for years under Saddam Hussein's regime and continue to try to organize workers under violence and occupation. Two Iraqi trade union leaders will visit the Portland- Vancouver area to talk to workers, activists, leaders, and everyone in our community. The Oregon AFL-CIO is sponsoring the visit along with dozens of labor organizations and social justice groups.
