------------

PEACEKEEPERS/STAGE SECURITY: (minimum of 30 total needed)

We need thirty peacekeepers for the March 15 Peace Rally and March in Salem!

Peacekeepers are needed to coordinate the safety of pedestrians and automobiles along the route. This task is vital to ensure a safe and efficient rally and March.

It is necessary to get coordinated before the event to go over the basics of peacekeeping and the logistics of the traffic requirements.

To that end, there will be a training for those who have not done this before on Wednesday, March 11, 7 PM at the Friends Meeting House, 4312 SE Stark.

Just basic nonviolence, de-escalation stuff, but you must attend a training if you have not before.

To volunteer (must be 18 or older):
Contact Joe Keating at 503-234-2613 or keats [at] aracnet.com (replace @ for [at] when emailing)
